Rock The World 9

Back from Rock The World 9 concert earlier today at Bukit Jalil. (It's still going on the time I'm posting this) Freaking rained cats & dogs. Ended up drenched from top to bottom. Managed to catch John Mistress only out of the many bands I intend to see. Missed out on Love Me Butch, Disagree, Yuna, Seven Collar T-shirt, etc. Yet, there're some impressive bands out there.

Avril Concert Back On?

The concert is back on? Said by Avril herself in an interview HERE.

Dissapointing. Avril's concert was finally cancelled by the government after numerous protests by our idiotic Islamists.

What narrow minded fools of the nation. The reason:

"It is not timely. It's not in the good spirit of our National Day. If we go ahead with the concert, it is contrary to what we are preparing for," said Shukran Ibrahim, a senior official from the culture ministry's department that vets all foreign artistes.

Kamarulzaman Mohamed, a party youth official, said yesterday that Lavigne's show was "considered too sexy for us" and would promote the wrong values just before Merdeka.

"We don't want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artistes, artistes that are good role models," he said.

I BEG YOUR FUCKING PARDON?!?!?! Clean artistes? Like what?

FUCKING MAWI and SURE HEBOH concerts?
